The gist
- Keep your API keys secret, stay within the limits, and only use the API for the account it belongs to.
This summary helps you read the document. The full text below is what applies.
1. API keys
API keys are created by the subscriber of an account and give access to that account's data. Keep them secret, like a password, and revoke a key straight away if it may have leaked. You're responsible for everything done with your keys.
2. Using the API
- Use the API only to access the account the key belongs to, for that account's own purposes.
- Stay within any rate limits we set. We may slow down or block requests over them.
- Handle personal information you get through the API as privacy law requires.
- Don't use the API to scrape, copy or rebuild the service.
3. Webhooks
We send webhook notifications as quickly as we can, but we can't guarantee they'll always arrive, or arrive in order. Check important changes through the API.
4. Changes and availability
We may change the API. Where a change could break your integration, we'll give reasonable notice. We may suspend keys that break these terms or put the service at risk.
5. Liability
The API is part of the service, so the Terms of Use apply, including the limits on liability and your consumer rights.
