Payday Super, explained
Since 1 July 2026, super gets paid with every pay run instead of every quarter. The rate's 12% of ordinary pay. Here's what that means for you.
What's changing
With every pay, since 1 July 2026
Super has to be paid each time you pay wages, not once a quarter.
Within 7 business days
The super has to reach your employee's fund within 7 business days of payday.
20 days for someone new
For a new employee's first payment (or a new fund), you get 20 business days.
