Encrypted
Everything travels encrypted. Tax file numbers and ID numbers are encrypted again in the database, with keys we rotate.
Walled off
Every business and every practice is fenced off at the database level, so one can never see another's data.
Only the right people
Practices choose which staff see which clients. Businesses choose what each person and their accountant can do.
Two-step sign-in
Every account in every Billbook app signs in with a second step. It can’t be turned off.
Everything recorded
Practices get a full audit log of who changed what and when, plus records kept for the years the law requires.
Careful with AI
AI is off for practices until they switch it on. Names and identifiers are hidden before anything is sent, and it isn't used to train models.
