Super and Payday Super
See what super is due to each fund and when, pay it, and record it as paid so nothing is late.
- Post pay run
- Super due
- File
- Record paid
Super is the money you pay into each employee's retirement fund on top of their wages. Every posted pay run adds what's owed, with the date it's due.
Coming soon
Payroll opens once Billbook can report pays to the ATO through Single Touch Payroll (STP) Coming soon.
What is Payday Super?
From 1 July 2026, super has to reach each fund within a few business days of payday, not once a quarter. Super that's late attracts the super guarantee charge (an ATO penalty). The PayrollSuper page shows each due date for you.
How do I pay super?
- Open PayrollSuper. The Due tab lists each contribution and when it's due.
- Tick the ones you're paying.
- Choose Download SuperStream file and upload it to your clearing house, or pay each fund directly.
- Choose Record as paid, pick the bank account under Paid from and the Date paid.
- Choose Record payment.
Sending from Billbook
Sending super straight from Billbook through SuperStream Coming soon is on the way. For now, pay your funds or clearing house and record it here.
What if I've paid late?
The Late super tab estimates the super guarantee charge if the ATO assessed it today. Paying the fund now stops it growing. It's a guide; the ATO works out the real charge.
Where do I see what's been paid?
The Paid tab shows each payment, marked On time or Paid late.
