- Give it a Name, then pick How often.
- Set Next pay period starts and Payday for that period.
- Choose Add calendar.
Pick a Default pay calendar under Accounts and new employees start on it.
Can I add my own pay items?
Yes. Under Pay items, choose Add pay item. Pick the Type (earning, deduction or reimbursement), a Name for payslips, and what it's Reported to the ATO as.
What about leave types?
Annual and personal leave are already there. Choose Add leave type for anything else, like study leave, and say whether it's paid.
