Everything your accountant shares with you lives in Billbook: returns, notices of assessment, financial statements and letters. You never have to dig through emails for them.
Where are my business's returns?
In AccountingTax & documentsTax. Waiting on you lists anything to sign or send. Returns & statements has the returns and financial statements your accountant has shared.
AccountingTax & documentsDocuments has everything else they've shared with the business. Signed copies are locked.
Where's my personal tax?
Your own tax return isn't a business, so it lives on your accountant's page. On the first page after you sign in, open your accountant under Your accountant, then choose who it's for. Each person or entity has:
- Overview: what's waiting on you, and the Latest return.
- Tax returns: each year's return, from preparing to lodged and assessed.
- Documents: what your accountant shared, and what you sent.
- Invoices: your accountant's fees.
Can't see the returns?
Some people can only send documents, not see returns. Your accountant sets this.
Who in my team can see these pages?
The business owner, admins, and anyone with the Tax & documents role.
