Bring your clients to Billbook and your firm earns a share of their Pro subscription for as long as they stay, plus a bonus per client. The current terms and figures are on the Partner program page.
How do I join?
- Go to BillingPartner program. How it works and the calculator show what you could earn.
- Choose Read the terms and join.
- Tick We’re registered for GST if you are, and enter Your firm’s ABN (needed for GST tax invoices).
- Tick that you agree to the partner terms and the RCTI arrangement, then choose Accept and join.
An RCTI (recipient-created tax invoice) is a tax invoice Billbook issues on your behalf for each payout, so you don't have to.
Only the firm's partners and admins can join and manage the program. Other staff see who to ask instead.
Which clients count?
Businesses new to Billbook that you bring in through Billbook Practice (invited, or books you hand over), on Pro with a card on file. Businesses already on Billbook, people who sign up on their own, your own firm's books and your staff's businesses don't count.
What does each client's status mean?
Under Clients you’ve brought in, each client shows where they're up to: invited but not on Pro yet, on their free month, earning, or paused because they cancelled Pro. If your practice isn't verified yet, what you earn is held until it is.
How do I get paid?
- Get your practice verified. Add your TPB agent number in Firm settingsFirm profile.
- Under Payout account, choose Set up payout account. Stripe opens in a new tab, checks your identity and takes your bank details.
- Didn't finish? The account shows Not finished. Choose Finish setup.
When it shows Ready for payouts, you're done. Payouts go out monthly, after a short hold for refunds, once you've earned past the minimum. Smaller amounts roll over to next month.
Where do I see what I've earned?
On the same page: Earned this month, Earned so far, Next payout and Waiting, which is money still in the hold or held until you're verified.
Where are my RCTIs?
Under Payouts, each payout shows its earnings, GST and total, and whether it's Paid or Sending. Download the RCTI from its row.
What if our ABN or GST changes?
Choose Change beside the GST line under Payout account and accept the terms again with the new details.
