Getting started
Keyboard shortcuts
Search and jump anywhere with Command K, and move between a client's sections with G and a letter.
A few keys save a lot of clicking. None of them fire while you're typing in a box, so they never get in the way.
How do I open search from anywhere?
Press Command K on a Mac or Ctrl K on Windows. When you're not typing in a box, the slash key works too.
- Start typing a client, contact, job or page name.
- Use the up and down arrows to pick a result.
- Press Enter to open it. Press Escape to close search.
Search can also start things: type "new" to find New client, or "invite" for Invite a teammate.
How do I jump between a client's sections?
On a client's page, press G, let go, then press the section's key within a second or so. Hover any section on the left to see its key.
- G then O: Overview
- G then 0: Details
- G then C: Contacts
- G then 2: Structure
- G then 1: Notes
- G then M: Comms

What are the keys for work and billing?

- G then S: Signatures
- G then D: Documents
- G then 6: AML/CTF
- G then T: Time
- G then V: Billing
- G then U: Statement of account
What are the keys for books?
- G then R: Books & advisers
- G then 4: Sales & purchases
- G then K: Bank
- G then L: Ledger
- G then E: Reports
- G then H: Variances
- G then A: Assets

What are the keys for tax?
- G then X: Income tax

- G then I: PAYG instalments
- G then Z: FBT
- G then P: TPAR
- G then N: Franking account
- G then 7: Division 7A
- G then 5: Super caps
A key only works for sections the client has. A franking account shows for companies, for example, so G then N does nothing on a person.
Are there any other shortcuts?
- In a client's bank reconciliation, J and K move down and up the lines.
- When you're writing a reply to a client's question, Command Enter or Ctrl Enter sends it.
